Self Massaging the Spiral Line March 21st

Join seasoned instructor, Alyssa Prettyman, for the first instance of this unique, full-body self-massage experience. The spiral line(s) wrap around the entire body and support posture, balance, knee tracking, twisting, and can heavily influence how strike force is digested and disseminated in the body (think walking or running or jumping). Given that most people have a dominant side and general asymmetry - the spiral line is rarely balanced in the general population and given it’s interception with other critical movement lines - it’s liberation can have a tremendously positive effect on pain, performance, movement and general ability to breathe well.

During this workshop students will learn:

  • What the Spiral Line is (and what a “line” is in general)

  • Why it matters

  • How to massage with a selection of simple massage balls

  • How to move in towards keeping it balanced in the future
